Program Manager

Job Summary

The Program Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex programs that meet customer requirements and BorgWarner's business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive program execution and ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute program plans to meet customer requirements and BorgWarner's business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Manage program finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure program success
  • Identify and mitigate risks to program success
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in business, engineering, or manufacturing (automotive preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a program manager, with a preference of 6+ years
  • Strong program management skills in resource, task, and budget planning
  • Product and process launch experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience and training, including the ability to influence and motivate others
  • History of effective team building
  • Solid understanding of managerial finance as it relates to program and business metrics
  • High level of technical competence, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills to effectively interface with all levels BorgWarner, external customers, and suppliers
