About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at BorgWarner. In this role, you will be responsible for recording and maintaining our accounting system, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial analysis and reporting tools to drive business decisions.
  • Administer the fixed assets and tooling area, including registration, movement, and depreciation of assets.
  • Analyze variations in balance sheet and income statement accounts related to fixed assets.
  • Maintain internal controls based on continuous improvement, adhering to corporate policies, accounting principles, and SOX guidelines.
  • Support internal and external audits for fixed assets and related issues.
  • Prepare and follow-up on project closure with users.
  • Follow-up on payments to suppliers of fixed assets and capitalizations.
  • Maintain the accounting system, including the fixed asset vendor master.
  • Support activities related to annual physical inventory of materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis and accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
