Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as Automotive Business Growth Manager. This role will be responsible for driving business growth in the automotive sector in Mexico, working closely with the New Business Development Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop potential accounts in the automotive sector to achieve target business plans for revenue and margin.
  • Promote and sell Optimas' total value proposition (products, engineering & logistics) to customers.
  • Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project realization and acceleration.
  • Provide effective communication between customers and other departments within Optimas.
  • Foster inter-departmental and customer communication to eliminate roadblocks and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with market changes and competitor activities, reporting periodically.
  • Maintain sales presentations and solicit RFQs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with global Business Development Teams and Program Managers/Key Account Managers.
  • Work with the Business Development Manager in Mexico to construct and negotiate LTA's that achieve Optimas objectives.
  • Present sales/key customer reports monthly.
  • Create and realize business development plans and sales/market forecasts.
  • Identify underperforming accounts and develop strategies to attain new business within those accounts.
  • Develop proposals with internal departments to win new business while achieving profitability and EBITDA objectives.
  • Successfully hand off accounts to Program Managers.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. At Optimas, we offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
