About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Cognizant. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, milestones, and risk management strategies.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans to address potential issues.
  • Utilize project management tools to track project performance and generate reports.
  • Analyze financial data to ensure project budgets are adhered to and financial goals are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
Requirements
  • Possess a strong background in Finance & Accounting, with the ability to analyze financial data.
  • Demonstrate expertise in project portfolio management, with hands-on experience in project tracking and reporting.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Showcase strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects within budget and on schedule.
  • Display a high level of organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
