**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at CPKC. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct assigned internal audits in accordance with the IIA Standards and the Internal Audit Manual.
- Design and execute audit procedures to identify audit observations and root causes.
- Generate clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Perform data analytics to enhance audit coverage and efficiency and identify value-add insights for management.
- Obtain and demonstrate an understanding of complex systems, processes, risks, and controls relevant to various business units across the organization.
- Communicate audit results and recommendations to various levels of management.
- Follow-up with management for timely completion of management action plans.
- Assist in advancing the Quality Assurance & Improvement Program, project managing the development of the annual audit plan, creating quarterly reporting board packages, and enhancing the capabilities of AuditBoard.
- Demonstrate excellent project and time management to complete assigned responsibilities in a timely manner with quality.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum two to three years of audit experience in an International Accounting Firm or as an Internal Auditor in a Company.
- Advanced Level of English (Fluent in Speaking, Writing, and Reading).
- Proficient computer skills (including word processing, spreadsheets, flowcharting, and presentation tools) to perform and monitor assigned projects.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- CPA, CIA, or other relevant certifications.
**Working Conditions**
- This position has a regular full-time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday.
- There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
- This position may require minimal travel up to 10% of the time.
