About This Role



We are seeking an experienced Auditor/Risk Management Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and incentives.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Risk Assessment and Audit Planning
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for CPKC operations in Mexico, Canada, and the USA
  • Design and execute audit procedures to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Audit Report Writing and Communication
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation
  • Perform data analytics to enhance audit coverage and efficiency, identifying value-add insights for management
  • Project Management and Leadership
  • Lead projects of limited scope and/or portions of larger projects, guiding less-experienced team members as needed
  • Quality Assurance and Improvement
  • Assist in advancing the Quality Assurance & Improvement Program, project managing the development of the annual audit plan, creating quarterly reporting board packages, and enhancing the capabilities of AuditBoard
  • Professional Development and Certifications
  • Pursue professional certifications such as CPA or CIA to advance your career in auditing and risk management


Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum two to three years of audit experience in an International Accounting Firm or as an Internal Auditor in a Company
  • Advanced Level of English (Fluent in Speaking, Writing, and Reading)
  • Proficient computer skills (including word processing, spreadsheets, flowcharting, and presentation tools) to perform and monitor assigned projects
  • Preferred: CPA, CIA, or other relevant certifications
