About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Procurement Manager to join our team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon México S. de R.L. de C.V. in Mexico. As a key member of our procurement operations, you will play a crucial role in driving efficiencies and improvements in our site's procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align with Regional Procurement Manager to provide procurement operations for the building, including forecasting of non-inventory products, inventory management, cycle counts, supplier management, sourcing and negotiation, procurement transactions, projects of innovation, and expediting support as needed.
  • Develop deep knowledge of building Non-Inventory Items (Shippers, pallets, bags) and Indirect materials and services, aligning site stakeholders to drive best practices.
  • Manage related KPIs to measure, control, and benchmark procurement processes, including creation of recurring metrics reports.
  • Develop relationships across the building and network of Procurement and other sites.
  • Align with Internal customers, Finance, and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building to develop an agreed method of measuring and defining savings, value, and other category metrics.
  • Build the category metrics model based on input from the category team to track and monitor performance to the category strategy.
  • To measure actual vs planned savings and advise the team on trends, escalate issues, and own action plans.
  • Manage and maintain supplier scorecards.
  • Support Procurement Operations excellence and Category Management teams.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain (Planning or Inventory Management).
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Business English, Fluent to speak and write.
  • Supplier relationship experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Accounts Payable, Cost accounting, and Invoicing experience.
  • Advanced data analysis skills; the ability to extract and synthesize data.
  • Sourcing projects and strategies.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity.
  • Must have process improvement experience.
  • High precision in verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to handle high-speed and high-pressure environment.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
