**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Software Developer to join our team. As a Help Desk Software Developer, you will work remotely with field technicians to support existing programs, creating and modifying control system software for integrated Audio Video Systems. Your expertise will be essential in delivering robust and efficient systems that meet unique requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Read and interpret AV systems drawings to identify system requirements
  • Modify control modules, control code, and user interfaces to ensure seamless system operation
  • Mentor other programmers to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of code to ensure system functionality
  • Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as needed to resolve complex issues
  • Explain cause and resolutions to clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction
  • Maintain and update programming code in installed systems, ensuring version control and consistency
  • Manage projects using dev-ops platform to track issues, deploy releases, and collaborate with team members
  • Travel to various job sites as required to support system installation and maintenance

**Requirements**

  • Proficient in programming languages, test and calibration equipment, and control system design (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC)
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills, with ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to diagnose and test complex system problems, both remotely and on-site
  • Advanced computer skills for design, configuration, optimization, and operations of AV equipment
  • Ability to switch tasks from one code base to another multiple times a day, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Energized self-starter capable of working and thinking independently, with ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Two years' experience as an AVI-SPL Programmer 1 or three years similar experience outside of AVI-SPL
  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent

**Nice-to-Haves**

  • Experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML-5, PowerShell, Lua, and Git version control
  • Experience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Bluejeans, Cisco Telepresence, etc)
