As a Logistics Coordinator at FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our courier services. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the dispatch of couriers for pickups and deliveries, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness in service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor and evaluate route loads to ensure balance of workload, flexibility of workforce, reassignments, and to provide coverage in the event of breakdowns.
- Organize pick-up/delivery requests for customers according to location and reroute couriers when necessary.
- Handle all customer incoming calls on all pickup/delivery related matters.
- Communicate with station personnel or customers as to estimated time of arrival and other related questions or concerns.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor degree/Equivalent
- Proficiency in English (450 TOEIC points)
- A minimum of eighteen (18) months as Courier or Service Agent within FEC
**Preferred Skills:**
- Knowledge of city geography and traffic flow
- Knowledge of FEC features of service
- Valid Drivers License and good driving record
- Good communications skills written and verbal
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
