About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Plastic Product Testing Specialist to join our team in Dedemsvaart, the Netherlands.

In this challenging position, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating plastic products & materials for various above and below ground applications. Your primary role will be to prepare, schedule, and execute mechanical and physical tests, working intensively with multidisciplinary product development teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Test Preparation and Execution: Prepare, schedule, and execute tests independently, ensuring adherence to selected test methods and prescribed procedures.
  • Lab Representation: Participate in innovation projects as laboratory representative, generating ideas for effective and efficient product and material testing aligned with business requirements.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up, control, and operate test equipment in compliance with established protocols.
  • Result Reporting: Capture, interpret, report, and present results and additional findings to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Team Support: Offer support regarding corporate governance, ethics, data protection, and privacy within the innovation team.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering, or Chemistry (HBO).
  • 1st or 2nd step in your career.
  • Affinity and/or experience with plastic products in an innovative environment.
  • Passion for testing and investigating innovative plastic products.
  • Pro-active, result-oriented, team player.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate in English (verbal & writing).
  • Ambition to further develop.

Location and Salary:

This position is based in Dedemsvaart, the Netherlands, offering a salary range of approximately €55,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
