Job Summary:
The Conservation Support Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the conservation efforts of CEMEX by providing administrative and technical assistance to the El Carmen Nature Reserve team. This position will be responsible for processing orders, managing inventory, and maintaining databases to ensure the effective conservation of biodiversity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and manage orders for the annual nature book, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage the book inventory and warehouse, maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient storage and retrieval.
- Support the El Carmen Nature Reserve team in their conservation efforts, providing administrative and technical assistance as needed.
- Prepare and maintain databases and surveys, using tools such as Excel and Power BI to analyze and present data.
- Provide general administrative support to the sustainability area, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Position Challenges:
- Coordinate the distribution of international and national book shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Analyze databases and prepare information with short notice, providing insights and recommendations to support conservation efforts.
- Manage payrolls for vendors and El Carmen staff, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency.
- Degree in accounting or administration, with a master's degree in administration preferred.
- Experience in administration, import/exportation, and database management, with a minimum of 5 years in each area.
- High proficiency in database management, Excel, and Power BI.
- Excellent client service and problem-solving skills, with a self-motivated and proactive approach.
