Job Summary

Position: Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Aguascalientes

Reporting to: Supply Chain Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve material quality.
  2. Collaborate with customers and suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms.
  3. Manage component cost and price on a local, regional, and global basis.
  4. Track materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.
  5. Define and implement pricing and costing strategies.
  6. Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.
  7. Develop and implement cost take-down strategies.
  8. Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time, and Electronic Data Interface penetration.

Specialized Job Controls:

May include the following duties:

Supply Management:
  1. Manage regional supplier contract negotiations, which include Memorandums of Comprehension, Non-disclosure, and regional pricing agreements.
  2. Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
  3. Measure and report Purchase Price Variance and initiate action plans.
  4. Monitor and manage supplier times.
  5. Mitigate shortages, excess on order, and excess on hand.
  6. Participate in and help global and regional commodity teams.
  7. Contribute information/data on top spend suppliers for quarterly scorecards.
Customer Supply Chain Management:
  1. Manage material cost reviews.
  2. Drive initiatives to improve gross material margin.
  3. Identify, implement, and drive actions for Retained Purchase Price Variance (RPPV) optimization.
  4. Drive reconciliation process with the customer (PPV, Premium charges, carrying costs, freight charges, excess and obsolete inventory, Non-cancelable, Non-Returnable (NCNR), etc.)
  5. Identify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop a materials management plan.
  6. Coordinate quarterly/monthly PPV hard call process.

Qualifications:

  1. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management, supply chain design/management, or other related areas.
  3. Advanced English level.
  4. Must understand cost accounting, electronic component markets, price trends, and technologies.
  5. A background in electronics manufacturing and a thorough understanding of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) product development process.
  6. To perform the major job responsibilities, the use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: telephones, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages, and database systems.
