About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Elixir engineer to join our team at AgileEngine, LLC. As a Senior Elixir Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex software applications and websites.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions using Elixir and other relevant technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  3. Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring it meets industry standards and is compatible with various devices.
  4. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of experience in web development with a strong focus on Elixir.
  2. Expertise in JavaScript frameworks and front-end development, with a focus on building complex layouts and meeting pixel-perfect design requirements.
  3. Experience with building performant, responsive front-end components.
  4. A technical background with knowledge of engineering principles and design patterns.
  5. A passion for writing clean, modern, maintainable, and highly performant code.
  6. Upper-intermediate English level.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with PHP and at least 1 major framework such as Laravel, Phalcon, or Symfony.
  2. Experience with TypeScript and at least 1 modern Frontend Web Framework such as VueJS, Angular, or Svelte.
  3. Experience with Server-Side rendering in either NextJS, Phoenix, or Hugo.
