About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Management Manager to join our team at Gates Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and owning our master data management strategy and governance for North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement master data management capabilities and best practices aligned with business goals and priorities.
  • Establish standards and processes for data governance.
  • Eliminate business and data silos.
  • Implement consistent metrics to manage and measure the quality of Gates data.
  • Define and own relevant data management principles and policies.
  • Identify risks and drive continuous improvements in data management through technological innovation, operational improvement, and championing adoption.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of master data specialists and stewards.

Requirements:

  • Strong leader with experience in mentoring, coaching, and leading a team through a transformational time.
  • Quick problem-solving and strong root cause skills used to drive the decision-making process.
  • Communication, collaboration, and relationship-building strengths to build and maintain the network required.
  • Drive audit program and Data Governance controls to monitor and enhance data accuracy.
  • Drive Governance projects, managing people and timelines while reporting status.

About You:

  • At least 5 years of progressive people management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Project management experience/certification a plus.
  • Oracle, SAP, and SQL experience preferred.
  • 15% travel.
  • English Fluency.
