We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer II to join our Technology Services team at F5. As a key member of our CEDI team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, including JIRA, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain JIRA and Confluence instances, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Create and maintain complex workflows, custom fields, and projects in JIRA.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using Script Runner to streamline processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases for system documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Atlassian tools and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve system performance and efficiency.
- 5+ years of experience with Atlassian tools, including JIRA, Confluence, and Jira Align.
- Strong scripting and programming skills, with experience in languages such as Python or Java.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with cloud platforms, SaaS platforms, containerization, and orchestration.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
