FICO is a leading global analytics software company, empowering businesses to make better decisions. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the uptime, scalability, and reliability of our complex distributed enterprise SaaS offerings.
About the OpportunityThis is a full-stack support role that requires a unique blend of software development and systems engineering skills. You will be responsible for managing complex distributed enterprise SaaS offerings, with a focus on uptime, scalability, and rapid development and deployment through a CI/CD pipeline.
Key Responsibilities- Support the full stack of Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and SaaS Enterprise Products
- Manage the operations and stability of the environments in accordance with established procedures and best practices
- Drive incidents to and beyond resolution, identifying points of remediation and improvement for ever improving software and environment reliability
- Implement, monitor, refresh, and perform disaster recovery tasks on all supported applications
- Intermediate to advanced Linux experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent on-the-job experience
- Working knowledge of core AWS tech stack services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, etc.) or non-AWS Cloud Equivalent
- Java programming background
- Python Development experience
- Working knowledge of relational database systems – MySQL, SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, Oracle 11 and Oracle RAC
- Working knowledge of networking systems and protocols, firewalls and TCP/IP networks, standards, and architectures
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with ITIL standards and technologies (ServiceNow)
- Scripting/programming experience in NodeJS or BASH Shell a plus
- Working Knowledge of Git/Bitbucket a plus
