Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Lead to oversee multiple large-scale projects for Client IT initiatives. This individual will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of business requirements within budget and scope, promoting continuous improvement in project delivery processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Project Plans: Create project objectives, metrics, tools, impacted systems, system specifications, schedules, and project budgeting.
  • Prioritizing Critical Tasks: Identify and prioritize critical tasks during planning to ensure continuity of critical functionality.
  • Tracking Project Objectives: Articulate project objectives and establish tracking mechanisms to measure and track these objectives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Update key stakeholders on project roles, system dependencies, and change management needs.
  • Project Execution: Manage project execution to adhere to budget, scope, and schedule.
  • Status Reporting: Report statuses, progress, risks, and deviations to the steering committee and key stakeholders.
  • METHODLOGY EXPERTISE: Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies to plan tasks, perform effort estimations, create test scripts, and coordinate project personnel.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead planning and execution of projects, including funding gate requests, and gather requirements to create a detailed project schedule.
  • Team Management: Source, select, and onboard team members, clarify roles and responsibilities, and set task/deliverable/performance expectations.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage large project budgets, identify potential risk events, and establish mitigating strategies.
  • Steering Committee and Stakeholder Forums: Establish and participate in steering committee and stakeholder forums, and provide project reporting to multi-stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of PMBOK: Knowledge of Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge.
  • Certification: PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Industry Expertise: Knowledge of Information Management policies and practices.
  • Global Team Experience: Experience working with global teams and in a customer-facing role in the manufacturing industry.

Work Environment: 8AM to 5PM EST, Guadalajara, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).
