Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will lead multiple large-scale, complex projects for Client IT initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure project deliverables meet clients' business requirements on time, scope, and budget while promoting continuous improvement in project delivery team processes and tools.

Responsibilities
  • Develop project plans, including objectives, metrics, tools, impacted systems, system specifications, schedules, project budgeting, and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize critical tasks during planning to ensure continuity of critical functionality.
  • Articulate project objectives and establish tracking mechanisms to measure and track these objectives.
  • Update key stakeholders on roles, upstream, and downstream system dependencies.
  • Identify change management needs and develop organization-wide strategies for teams impacted by system implementations, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Manage project execution to adhere to the project budget, scope, and schedule.
  • Report statuses, progress, risks, and deviations to steering committees, executive leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies to plan tasks, perform effort estimations, create test scripts, and coordinate project personnel activities.
  • Lead project planning and execution, including funding gate requests.
  • Gather and develop requirements to create a detailed project schedule or integrated plan.
  • Select, onboard, and clarify roles and responsibilities for resources, setting task and performance expectations.
  • Resolve resourcing and interpersonal conflicts, negotiate changes, and ensure knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Effectively manage large project budgets, ensuring fiscal control and accountability.
  • Proactively identify potential risk events and issues, developing mitigating strategies and recommending them to decision-makers.
  • Establish and participate in steering committee forums, providing project reporting to senior management levels.

Requirements
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge and Information Management policies.
  • Manufacturing industry experience working in customer-facing roles.
  • Global team experience and fluency in English (spoken and written).
