Senior Specialist in IT and Operations Technology Integration
Objective
Drive the strategic planning and execution of integration initiatives between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), ensuring they align with the overall business objectives. Cultivate a collaborative environment among IT, plant automation teams, and various departments to facilitate effective operational technology integration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee vendor relationships, ensuring the acquisition of solutions that bolster strategic IT and OT integration as well as cybersecurity efforts. Perform thorough assessments of vendor offerings, negotiating agreements that meet the organization's operational and security requirements. Design and execute a comprehensive training initiative aimed at enhancing internal team skills in IT and OT integration, cybersecurity protocols, and the Purdue Model. Identify skill deficiencies and formulate tailored development plans to strengthen team competencies in managing, securing, and integrating IT and OT systems. Spearhead the formulation and execution of advanced cybersecurity strategies for OT systems, highlighting the significance of segregation principles and the Purdue Model. Regularly assess and refresh incident response and business continuity strategies to tackle the distinct challenges associated with IT and OT integration. Ensure compliance of IT and OT integration efforts with all pertinent industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Promote adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks within all initiatives, acting as a liaison to external regulatory entities as needed.Position Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Extensive background in IT and OT integration, with a proven history of leading successful integration initiatives. Proficiency in industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and cybersecurity, with a solid grasp of segregation models such as the Purdue Model.
