This position is based in our office and offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiate and coordinate the processing of sales orders efficiently. Monitor the sales order system to ensure accurate receipt and processing of orders. Track sales shipments, deliveries, billing, and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports as needed. Address inquiries regarding order status and resolve customer order issues. Prepare pricing and proposals for identified sales opportunities. Ensure timely and consistent completion of all quotes.Required Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in order entry, or 3 years in general office, accounting, or customer service roles. Ability to comprehend technical and complex solutions and products is highly valued. Must demonstrate professionalism and reliability, capable of managing both internal and external customer inquiries, with a strong attention to detail in data entry and a proven ability to troubleshoot effectively. Excellent communication skills and business etiquette are essential, with the ability to multitask and take initiative, while maintaining a customer-first perspective. Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is necessary. Knowledge of Quantum products is advantageous. Understanding of secondary storage (backup and archival) is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle ERP, or similar systems is beneficial.Essential Functions:
Ability to sit for extended periods. Capacity to engage in telephone communication for several hours consecutively. Proficiency in typing with attention to detail. Ability to accept constructive feedback and interact courteously with both internal and external customers. Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational skills to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Willingness to work overtime during peak periods throughout the year.
