Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to design and implement tailored SharePoint solutions for Carrier. This role involves configuring and personalizing SharePoint environments in line with organizational needs, developing scalable web applications, coding, debugging software, and collaborating with Managed Service Provider (MSP) personnel. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in infrastructure management and will be adept at understanding the interconnections between various information systems components.

Key Responsibilities:

As a SharePoint Developer, your duties will include:

  • Collaborating with the design team to assess website and application specifications.
  • Establishing development tasks and objectives.
  • Configuring SharePoint systems to meet defined requirements.
  • Creating new web components utilizing XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
  • Designing, coding, and deploying scalable applications.
  • Enhancing SharePoint capabilities with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
  • Conducting testing and debugging of code.
  • Evaluating website interfaces and software reliability.
  • Resolving software-related issues.
  • Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
  • Providing training on systems to staff and clients.
  • Overseeing the development and upkeep of technical architecture encompassing networks, applications, and hardware.
  • Supervising the architecture of integrated systems and applications, identifying key technology interactions across platforms.
  • Guiding enterprise-wide network capabilities and hosting solutions.
  • Managing the installation, configuration, support, and maintenance of software and hardware systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2013.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell with SharePoint and PnP Modules.
  • Familiarity with PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Nintex.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server (both on-premises and Azure).
  • Experience with modern API platforms such as REST, SOAP, JSO, and XML.
  • Experience with ShareGate.
  • MOSS or WSS certification.
  • Prior experience as a SharePoint developer.
  • Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
  • Strong coding abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and self-motivation.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, particularly in high-level consultations.
  • A proven track record in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • Experience with Agile Development and Project Management methodologies.
  • Capability to lead client meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Experience in project planning, estimation, and scheduling using tools like Jira and MS Project.

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. As a minimum, candidates must possess:

  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Thorough knowledge of design and analysis tools such as PSpice, MatLab, and Minitab.
  • Six Sigma or equivalent experience in Design for Reliability and Design for Manufacturability.
  • Experience with high-volume production PCB soldering processes and electronic assembly.
  • Experience in designing and developing embedded electronic controls for Refrigeration and HVAC applications.
  • Experience in automotive embedded electronics design.
  • Familiarity with fault tree and/or DIVE analysis.
  • Experience with VHDL/Verilog in CPLD/FPGA design.
  • Experience in testing and certifying wireless modules, components, and systems.
