We are seeking an experienced Industrial Operations Director to join our team at Cienega de Flores facility.
About You
You will be responsible for overseeing and directing daily plant operations, including production and manufacturing, maintenance, engineering support, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution, and warehousing.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee programs and practices for hiring, performance management, and developing/training personnel who perform and support plant operating functions.
- Direct all aspects of manufacturing operations to produce cost-effective, timely, and high-quality products in a safe, secure, and sanitary working environment.
- Manage development, implementation, and continual improvement of operating methods, equipment, systems, and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives.
- Direct development of production work schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations; monitor process and personnel performance of scheduled work activities to remove operating impediments and achieve established operating goals.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience using organization's preferred budgeting software tools.
- Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets quality goals.
- Expert analytical thinking skills, including the ability to determine root causes of organizational problems and create alternative solutions.
- Strong planning and organizing skills, including the ability to optimize time, tools, and resources to achieve desired results.
- Leadership skills, including the ability to coach less experienced managers and champion a climate that supports and rewards excellent group and individual performance.
