About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Applications Platform Analyst to join our team at ZF LIFETEC. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Applications platform, including servers, software releases, agents, and security topics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Point of contact for other IT workstreams regarding Applications requirements, ensuring seamless integration and coordination.
  • Shared Services Coordination: Manage shared services on applications such as Job Scheduling, Platforms security services, monitoring, and consulting.
  • Project Management: Initiate and steer projects to further develop existing SAP platform services or create new services and related operational processes.
  • Vendor Management: Manage external Application Hosting Service Provider, ensuring efficient SLA Monitoring, Budget Management, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot reported issues by IT Applications teams and involve necessary IT WIO teams (D&S, Central Services, Network, etc.).
  • App Registrations and Certificates: Manage app registrations and certificates.
  • Middleware Platforms: Implement, govern, coordinate, consult, and run middleware platforms on MES or SAP systems.
  • Expert Functions: Provide expertise in MII-MES infrastructure, SAP Landscape, and Job Monitoring Cloud Platforms.
  • Customer Support: Consult and support customers and users based on their use cases.
  • Production Service Areas: Continuously enhance Production Service Areas to enable new application technologies and Industry 4.0 processes, working with IT Production, IT Quality teams, and Business teams.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with guidelines/standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering.
  • IT Infrastructure: Solid foundation in IT Infrastructure, including Networking and Server management.
  • Critical Thinking: Critical thinking, communication, and research skills.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Experience in Manufacturing processes and interfaces with Enterprise systems.
  • Language Skills: English speaking and writing skills.
  • Vendor Management: Vendor Management experience.
  • IT Delivery and Support: IT Delivery and Support teams experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaboration with other global IT Workstream teams.
  • Business Partners: Engagement with external business partners and vendors.
  • Production Focus: Focus on production with business experts.
