Position Overview
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Develop, implement, and oversee control systems for manufacturing and administrative processes, including changes related to new product introductions and revisions.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Undertaking responsibilities and tasks assigned by your direct supervisor and executing them effectively.
- Maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
- Adhering to internal work regulations and safety protocols established by the organization.
- Actively engaging in the enhancement of the Quality/Safety and Environment Management System, following established procedures and instructions, while understanding and complying with the Quality/Safety and Environment Policy.
- Establishing controls to ensure product conformity at each stage of the production process.
- Planning, developing, and executing control plans for materials, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
- Planning, developing, and executing control plans for system changes, including New Product Introductions (NPI) and engineering modifications.
- Ensuring that product specifications are effectively integrated into manufacturing processes.
- Participating in and, if necessary, coordinating the validation of manufacturing processes.
- Assisting in the coordination and implementation of product and/or process introductions and changes.
- Contributing to the introduction of new products through document reviews, component assessments, and process evaluations.
- Providing necessary information to auditors and quality technicians under your supervision.
- Coordinating and participating in corrective and preventive actions for processes under your responsibility.
- Directing, supervising, monitoring, and coordinating assigned corrective and preventive actions.
- Assessing whether manufacturing processes can ensure the required quality using quality tools such as R&R and capability studies.
- Performing other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in English (minimum 80%).
- Experience in personnel management.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Effective decision-making abilities.
- High-level communication skills, both oral and written, in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team leader or member.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Risk-based thinking approach.
- Familiarity with core quality tools.
- Proficient in problem resolution techniques.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Skills in statistical analysis.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
