Position Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of control systems for both manufacturing and administrative processes, particularly during changes such as new product introductions and revisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor, ensuring satisfactory completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to internal regulations and safety protocols established by the organization.
- Actively engage in the enhancement of the Quality/Safety and Environmental Management System, ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies.
- Define and implement controls to guarantee product conformity at each stage of the production process.
- Develop and execute control plans for materials, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
- Create and manage control plans for system changes, including new product introductions and engineering modifications.
- Ensure that product specifications are effectively integrated into manufacturing processes.
- Participate in and, when necessary, coordinate the validation of manufacturing processes.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of product and process introductions and changes.
- Contribute to the introduction of new products by reviewing documents, components, and processes.
- Provide necessary information to auditors and quality technicians as required.
- Coordinate and participate in corrective and preventive actions within your area of responsibility.
- Supervise and monitor assigned corrective and preventive actions.
- Assess the capability of manufacturing processes to ensure the required quality using quality tools such as R&R and capability studies.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in English (minimum 80%).
- Experience in personnel management.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Decision-making capabilities.
- High-level communication skills, both oral and written, in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work effectively in teams, whether as a leader or a member.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Familiarity with risk-based thinking and core quality tools.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Competence in statistical analysis.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
