Job Title: Medical Science Liaison Oncology Mexico City

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in Mexico City. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in delivering updated scientific information to healthcare professionals and providing essential information on medical and technical topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver scientific information to healthcare professionals involved in Pfizer's products to increase their knowledge about disease, diagnosis, and drug efficacy, safety, and correct use.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and academic centers to ensure their access to current medical and scientific information.
  • Prepare and develop scientific information and materials to be discussed with healthcare professionals with the support and approval of the Medical Manager.
  • Coordinate medical events as part of the objectives in the diffusion of scientific information.
  • Participate in medical educational programs and disseminate technical information regarding Pfizer's products and disease concepts.
  • Work with the Medical Manager to partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for the development of treatment algorithms and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Medical Manager to facilitate identification and presentation of research opportunities for consideration in support of Pfizer's products and customers.
  • Assist in the implementation of local protocol development and administration for proposals to be supported.
  • Provide information to local experts to assist in keeping their presentations current and ensure they have medical and scientific information necessary when responding to questions encountered during their presentations.
  • Support ongoing training to field sales force, personnel, and others, providing up-to-date knowledge of Pfizer's product uses and external data.
  • Serve as a local medical scientific resource planning for communication of product information.
  • Attend scientific meetings, review scientific journals, and partner with Category Leads and Medical Managers to foster information on medical concepts and product usage.
  • Act in compliance with all Pfizer policies, particularly with FCPA, GPIHP, and PIGO policies.
  • Provide reports and metrics (if required by Manager) supporting results aligned with medical objectives.
  • Provide administrative support in ISRs (if required by Manager).

Requirements:

  • Medical degree, preferably with a specialty in Internal Medicine and/or research or molecular biology training.
  • +2 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or specialized physician, and/or at least 1 year in the pharmaceutical industry, mainly in contact with Medical societies of interest, in continuous interaction and scientific exchange.
  • English proficient.
  • Microsoft Office management.

  • Objective-oriented.
  • Audience management.
  • Training and efficient communication.
  • Analytic and proactive.
  • Self-study discipline.
