Key Responsibilities:- Engage with healthcare customers to educate and communicate clinical and scientific data, aligning with Amgen's objectives.
- Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, key partners, advocacy, and access enablers.
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries, adhering to MSL compliance standards.
- Provide and/or present field observations and insights to internal partners.
- Implement scientific engagement plans according to annual MSL goals and metrics.
- Develop and implement local OL plans in line with scientific engagement plans.
- Support speaker training, ensuring speakers are updated on new data.
- Liaise with potential investigators in non-sponsored clinical research.
- Lead and/or participate on project teams supporting MSL strategies and tactics, as delegated by MSL leadership.
- Advance MSL value proposition, identify gaps, achieve results, and set an example for others by consistently demonstrating Amgen values and leadership attributes.
- Lead and support congress activities, aligned with strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues, serving as a main point of contact when necessary.
- Maintain clinical competence and expertise, completing assigned training in a timely manner.
- Serve as a New Hire Mentor and/or International MSL mentor/trainer, cultivating long-term relationships.
- Doctorate degree OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR Associate's degree with 10 years of experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR High school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both in written and verbal communication.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
