Your Role

As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a Lean Manufacturing culture free of MUDAS - Waste - throughout the organization. This involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and implementing sustainable solutions.

Our Team

The Operational Excellence team at Phillips-Medisize is dedicated to helping employees participate in the management and enhancement of processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes. As a member of this team, you will use work processes and change management skills to speed up the realization of sustainable improvement plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Lean Manufacturing culture free of MUDAS
  • Train direct/technical staff on Lean principles and practices
  • Participate in events, training, and workshops to stay up-to-date on industry best practices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and implement sustainable solutions
  • Participate in Gemba - Manufacturing floor activities to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Execute the 5's and perform balancing to optimize processes

Requirements

  • Recently graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Proficient in Excel and Macros
  • Advanced English language skills
  • General knowledge of Continuous Improvement - Lean - and/or basic statistics
  • Knowledge of 6 sigma
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
