Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to support our data center operations. As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and security equipment within the data center. You will have the chance to support Amazon with your technical expertise and experience within data center operations.

About the Role

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and security equipment within the data center.
  • Support Amazon with your technical expertise and experience within data center operations.
  • Collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
  • Promote innovation and reduce operational costs in the facilities.
  • Be the first point of contact for resolving electrical and mechanical problems that affect data center availability.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of data center engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience.
