The Data Center and Computer Room Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Nestlé's data centers and computer rooms. This position is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities and ensuring the compliance of data center and computer room infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Security: Ensure the delivery of compliance KPIs dashboard, providing support to all activities related to controls, findings, remediation plans, and metrics.
- Facilities Management: Plan and execute IT facilities CAPEX and OPEX, aligning with market IT FRM/finance/procurement areas, and ensuring checkpoint controls, status reports, and escalations.
- Contract Management: Execute the elaboration and negotiation of RFPs for preventive/corrective maintenance contracts on IT facilities equipment.
- Purchase Order Coordination: Execute purchase orders coordination with markets, including creation requests, follow-up, and budget management.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Support the relationship with suppliers for ongoing daily operations and markets.
- Obsolescence Replacement Planning: Support the planning and coordination of yearly obsolescence replacement in all sites.
Required Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in business (IT management), engineering, or IT.
- Managing cultural diversity: respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of cultures in the most effective way.
- Good contract management and negotiation skills.
- 2+ years of experience supporting preventive maintenance to mission-critical data center/computer room infrastructure.
- 2+ years of data center/computer room assessment, design, and project management experience.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience working with building construction general contractors and low-voltage cabling vendors.
- Experience with Agile Framework using Azure DevOps, Jira, or related tools.
- 3+ years of demonstrated knowledge of CAPEX/OPEX planning and execution.
- Experience with hybrid datacenter environments and datacenter infrastructure.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Apps.
- REQUIRED: experience with Orion Monitoring Tools, Building Automation Systems, and Ccure 9000 Access Control.
- Project and product management knowledge.
- Experience in effective communication at different levels in the organization.
