Job Title: Front End Technical Lead

As a Front End Technical Lead at Endava, you will be responsible for managing a development team, optimizing software delivery, and using the right tools and technologies to increase business productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of up to 10 developers by offering guidance and support in their daily activities and professional development.
  • Facilitate the planning, implementation, and delivery of software, ensuring that it is completed on time, following agreed requirements, and adhering to established quality standards.
  • Design, estimate, and implement technical solutions for high complexity applications.
  • Participate actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
  • Recommend and promote IT industry standards, tools, and practices to achieve well-engineered software products.
  • Propose improvements and escalate risks/issues related to development activities.
  • Participate in the review of the work done by development team members.
  • Learn, apply, and promote new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project.
  • Participate in internal and external tech communities, events, etc.
  • Share experience and knowledge gained from projects.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • Proficient in frameworks and tools such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React with Next. Nice to have: Python.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, design system, server components, micro-frontends.
  • Strong familiarity with design/architectural patterns and clean code principles.
  • Strong experience in relevant database systems and SQL.
  • Advanced understanding of version control systems like Git or similar.
  • Strong experience with testing and mocking frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of various communication protocols and standards.
  • Considerable experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
