Job Summary

The Fraud Prevention Analyst position at Citi is an entry-level role responsible for executing activities related to fraud prevention, while ensuring adherence to the company's policies and guidelines. The overall objective is to identify and mitigate potential financial risks, ensuring the integrity of our clients' information and the security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of alerts generated by various fraud prevention systems to identify potential financial risks.
  • Notify supervisors of potential risks that cannot be confirmed with clients.
  • Identify patterns of atypical use that may pose a risk to our clients and Citi.
  • Discard alerts and/or contact clients to confirm their validity.
  • Apply preventive and/or definitive blocks to accounts to prevent financial losses due to fraud.
  • Record each case worked and its solution in the management system.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic level experience in a related role (combination of education/experience).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to creatively solve problems.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
