About the Role:

The Fraud Prevention Analyst position is an entry-level role within Citigroup Inc. that focuses on executing customer service activities while ensuring adherence to the company's policies and guidelines. The primary objective is to resolve client inquiries and issues, providing ongoing customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough client verifications, account-related inquiries, process transactions, and cross-sell a diverse range of products and services to existing and new clients.
  2. Resolve client inquiries and manage issues based on the empowerment grid, including but not limited to: waiving late charges, interest charges, annual fees, and write-offs, as well as banking fees and charges for all cards and ready credit products, up to the prescribed limit.
  3. Make recommendations for temporary line increases, as necessary.
  4. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of a diverse set of products and service offerings.
  5. Escalate potential fraud cases to the Fraud department and sign on behalf of the bank, if required.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service, meeting client needs while ensuring a positive experience.
  7. Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the company's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, and applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices.

Requirements:

  1. 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  2. Basic level experience in a related role (combination of education/experience).
  3. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Influencing and relationship management skills.
  5. Proven ability to creatively solve problems.

Education:

  1. Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
