Key Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional project teams to develop and launch new product initiatives, collaborating with commercial project managers to drive business growth.
- Coordinate the introduction of new products in our Tijuana factory, modifying existing products as needed to meet agreed launch dates and cost of goods.
- Manage all activities associated with new product development and product change, from inception to project completion.
- Provide business-focused manufacturing support, analysis, and coordination for tactical issues, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Coordinate with all departments involved in projects, fostering effective partnerships and communication.
- Provide accountability for action items and follow-up for all project meetings, ensuring timely progress and resolution.
- Determine Cost of Goods for new products through quotes and final costing, working closely with regional and global material procurement teams.
- Identify sources for cost improvements and develop projects accordingly on existing items, driving continuous process optimization.
- Lead by example, embodying Reckitt's values and compass, and serving as a role model for our team.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Packaging engineering preferred.
- Project management experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on new product development.
- Process flow definition and optimization experience, with a proven track record of driving business results.
- Proven experience in leading new product introduction, with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Project management skills to lead cross-functional teams, with the ability to merge with multinational and multicultural teams.
- Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships with global, regional, and local function leaders.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
