Job Title: Middleware Engineer

Job Summary:

NTT DATA Services is seeking a skilled Middleware Engineer to join our team in Mexico. As a Middleware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex middleware systems that enable seamless communication between applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement middleware solutions using Weblogic, Tomcat, and Apache technologies
• Tune application server parameters for optimal system performance
• Install and maintain SSL certificates on web and application servers
• Aid developers in detecting and resolving application-related issues
• Provide continuous monitoring and troubleshooting of application server environments
• Participate in shift supporting off-hours and weekend activities
• Develop and maintain Unix scripts supporting system administration functions
• Work on deployment tools like Electric Cloud, Serena, and Nolio to deploy Java/J2ee applications on Weblogic/Tomcat environments
• Automate applications, systems, and configuration management using Shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Ansible
• Support applications hosted on hybrid platforms like AWS, Openshift, and Private cloud

Requirements:

• Must Have
• Overall IT experience of 5-6 years
• 2+ years of WebLogic/Tomcat administration experience
• 2+ years of operations and support experience
• 1+ years of Ansible and automation experience
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills required

Nice to Have:

• Java development experience
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS
• Exposure to Ping Identity/F5
• Exposure to technologies like Mulesoft, MQ, Openshift, Docker
• Experience with code deployment tools (UCD, AWS Deploy, Cloudbees, Jenkins)
• Knowledge on DevOps tools
