Actuarial Director

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing professional teams and departments, integrating subject matter and industry expertise, and contributing to standards around which others will operate.

• Manage professional teams and departments to achieve results through effective leadership and decision-making.
• Integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area to drive business growth and success.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of standards, policies, and procedures that align with the company's overall strategy.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and other functional teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement risk management strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including performance evaluation, coaching, and development.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in actuarial science and risk management.

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in actuarial science, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of actuarial principles, risk management concepts, and financial markets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, as required.

• Master's degree in actuarial science, risk management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications, such as Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA).
• Experience working in a financial services industry, with a focus on risk management and actuarial science.
