Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Team Lead to join our team at HELLA. As a key member of our sales and demand planning team, you will be responsible for supervising sales and demand planning execution in a high complexity plant operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise sales and demand planning execution in a high complexity plant operation, focused on attaining the required internal/external customer service within specified resource constraints.
  • Direct and manage the maintenance of master data.
  • Supervise the first level support for sales and demand planning in a high complexity plant operation.
  • Supervise all knowledge transfer connected to the sales and demand planning process.
  • Track the achievement of sales and demand planning target KPIs in a high complexity plant operation and trigger countermeasures in case of deviations.
  • Supervise all sales and demand planning activities in a high complexity plant operation and continuously track and manage occurring changes.
  • Safeguard that all sales and demand planners are fulfilling the required tasks according to corporate standards and trigger trainings to close any related competence gaps in a high complexity plant operation.
  • Build-up and maintain all required capabilities and competences to execute a first level support for all sales and demand planning related issues in a high complexity plant operation.
  • Responsible to direct sales and demand planners to attain required master data quality for standard production planning use cases.
  • Trigger continuous improvement within the sales and demand planning process and supervise the implementation of improvements according to corporate standards incl. documentation of changes.
  • Align all sales and demand planning activities within plant logistics and across other related functions in the plant as well as in corporate logistics.
  • Especially aligning with material management, production planning reviewing customer orders, production capabilities and material availability.
  • Manage sales and demand planning exceptions and facilitate the generation of viable solutions and initiate logistic escalation if necessary.

Project Management

  • Management and project lead for high complexity logistics projects from technical and organizational perspective incl. rollout and sustainable implementation of corporate standard processes.
  • Defining, planning, coordinating and monitoring tasks within project teams by using defined methods and systems.
  • Preparing and further development of concepts for improving recording, analysis, modeling, presentation and management of process-related data.
  • Continuous monitoring of project success regarding time, budget and output quality and driving execution of defined actions.
  • Cooking and training of the project team and/or triggering additional trainings.
  • Negotiating general logistics conditions with suppliers, service providers and customers (e.g. JIT/JIS processes, turnaround periods, packaging).

Leadership

  • Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks.
  • Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks.
  • Responsible to sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, administrative or similar.
  • Experience in similar position minimun 5 years.
  • Experiences in Automotive industries.
  • English 70-80% (written, read, and talked required).
  • SAP (required).
