About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a SAP Basis Manager. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day deliverables of the team on client engagements/projects, leading SAP Basis Team Members, and managing engagement/project risk.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage day-to-day deliverables of the team on client engagements/projects.
  2. Lead SAP Basis Team Members and lead conversations with Business Stakeholders, Partners, Leaders, Architects, etc.
  3. Manage engagement/project risk to ensure that the firm's risk policies as well as risk to client confidentiality are aligned at all times.
  4. Consistently review and analyze standard and quality of team deliverables and implement changes as necessary.
  5. Meet regularly with clients and client teams to understand issues, anticipate needs, and address these.
  6. Keep Cognizant leadership team updated on status of engagement.
  7. Proactively identify client service and technical issues and implement resolutions to address these.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of SAP BASIS technology experience in areas of SAP Basis, with extensive hands-on experience and knowledge on following areas of SAP BASIS module.
  • Deep understanding of SAP Basis Workstream and provide hands-on leadership in supporting different SAP Components such as S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP APO, SAP BW, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, SAP GRC, etc.
  • Should have in-depth skills and expertise in Service, Release Management, and Technical Deployment. Change management.
  • Should have very good communication skills, Leadership abilities, and Stakeholders Management.
  • Should be ready to learn/explore SAP technologies especially in Cloud and Infrastructure domain.
  • Advanced level of English is a Must.
