Key Responsibilities- Quality Management System (QMS) Maintenance: Ensure the QMS operates in a safe and ethical manner consistent with our company's core values.
- Process Safety Management (PSM) Activities: Support or lead PSM activities to ensure a safe working environment.
- Product Disposition and Release: Ensure product is released in a timely manner, including follow-up of property release samples and testing.
- Manufacturing Issue Resolution: Identify and implement solutions to manufacturing issues related to quality.
- Raw Material Performance Monitoring: Monitor raw material performance and fit for use as it relates to productivity.
- Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Customer Interface: Interface directly with customers to support sample testing, complaints, and problem resolution.
- Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership: Support or lead QMS within the organization, including conducting and coordinating internal audits.
- Document Control: Support manufacturing in maintaining document control, including standard practices, standard operating procedures, checklists, testing, etc.
- Quality Performance Data Compilation: Compile and present quality performance data.
- Quality Audits: Conduct 1st party and coordinate 2nd and 3rd party quality audits, such as ISO, OEA, customer audits, etc.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals.
- Laboratory Equipment Maintenance: Operation, troubleshooting, and general maintenance of analytical equipment, including Gas Chromatography, Titrators, pH meter, balances, ovens, etc.
- Equipment Calibration and Standards Analysis: Analyze standards to verify functionality of equipment and calibration of instruments to produce accurate test results.
- Laboratory Inventory Management: Maintain lab equipment parts, supplies, chemical inventory, and enter samples and data into the Lab Information Management System (LIMS) system.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Language: Fluent English.
- Experience: 3 years of industrial experience, with prior work experience in a manufacturing environment with similar operations preferred.
- Shift Work: Willingness to work an 8-hr rotating shift.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills and experience following Standard Operation Procedures or Guidelines.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Willingness and ability to wear required PPE.
