About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team, responsible for technically supporting our sales force and customer service team nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide application engineering support for our sales force and customer service team, including:
    1. Product selection and cross-referencing
    2. Price list updates and new product introductions
    3. Internal training and online product training for wholesalers' personnel
    4. Contractor/Technician product and hands-on training
    5. End-user training and product support
    6. Representing Copeland at related associations and industry events
    7. Developing written content for industry magazines and trade publications
    8. Supporting trade shows and other marketing events
    9. Warranty administration and customer issue resolution
Requirements
  1. Desired 2-5 years of experience in application/product engineering of AC and/or Refrigeration
  2. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to customers and senior leadership
  3. Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations to effectively solve customer issues
  4. Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education

Bachelor's degree in a related major, such as engineering or a related field

Languages

Spanish and English proficiency (desirable)

Travel

Domestic and international travel may be required, up to 30% of the time
