**Job Summary**

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of Reser's brand labels with current FDA and USDA regulations and company-specific standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Research and interpret labeling laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and approve product labels.
  • Verify product labels for correctness and regulatory compliance.
  • Generate product Nutrition and Ingredient statements from the company database.
  • Identify potential regulatory issues and provide resolution.
  • Process and submit USDA label sketch approvals and temporary approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to review label content for accuracy.
  • Use labeling expertise to advise other departments on regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in food product labeling or a similar regulatory position.
  • Experience with electronic label review software and systems.
  • Current knowledge of Canadian, FDA & USDA labeling regulations.
