We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Optimization Modeler to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for creating, running, and validating Tactical Network models on Supply Chain Guru.
Your primary focus will be on maintaining updated supply chain network models for our operations across the Latin America sector. You will support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Tactical Network processes by ensuring that the network models accurately reflect the reality of our operations. This will enable local teams to make informed decisions.
In addition, you will generate high-level productivity ideas using the designed network models as a basis. Your contributions will help drive productivity, efficiency, and optimization of manufacturing and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities- Build baseline models and scenarios in Supply Chain Guru for our operations units across the Latin America sector
- Keep Supply Chain Guru Tactical models updated to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Support the data analyst team in the data gathering process to ensure data quality
- Deliver modeling results within established timelines to meet business needs
- Manage work under pressure during AOP, Tactical Network, and productivity processes
- Provide technical support to the Sector Strategic Network Design team
- Lead the Adherence vs Optimized Network process to ensure optimal network design
- Provide insights and recommendations for implementation based on modeling results
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in Network Design, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management. You should have more than 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Agility to solve complex problems
- Sophisticated strategist and conceptual thinker
- Global Supply Chain Acumen
- Manage big data bases on SQL (nice to have) or similar
- Hands-on expertise in Supply Chain Guru and Data Guru (MUST)
- High expertise in visualization software such as PowerBI or Tableau (MUST)
