**Key Responsibilities:**

• Monitor systems for irregular behavior, respond to security alerts, and set up preventive measures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.

• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Monitor and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.

• Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions, and take prompt action to address any issues that arise.

• Educate and train staff on information system security best practices to ensure a culture of security within the organization.

• Implement, configure, and maintain information security tools to ensure compliance with information security policy objectives and industry standards.

• Identify and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.

• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency in our security practices.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in information security/technology or related field, preferred.

• Information security/cybersecurity certification(s), such as: Security+, CEH, or CISSP are strongly preferred.

• Preference given to information security/cybersecurity industry experience.

• Strong technical skills in managing security vulnerabilities, vulnerability scanning, and the configuration of security logging and alerting systems.

• Familiar with security incident response, incident triage, and other security processes to address common security issues.

• Ability to work independently to ensure assigned work is completed accurately and on time.
