Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer III to join our team at Te Connectivity. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and lean leadership to our Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) supply base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a well-documented continuous quality improvement process to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our supply network.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality, cost, logistics, delivery, and management (QCLDM) standards.
- Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement lean manufacturing principles and processes.
- Travel up to 50% of the time, with international travel as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in Quality, Continuous Improvement, Lean manufacturing, or Supplier Quality/Development.
- Experience in the Automotive Industry is highly desirable.
- Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor or Certified IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 Auditor is a plus.
- Strong background in LEAN Manufacturing Principles.
