About the Role:
The Business Process Analyst 2 is a developing professional role at Citibank. As a key member of our team, you will apply your specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data to identify policy gaps and formulate policies. You will interpret data and make recommendations, researching and interpreting factual information to identify inconsistencies in data or results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design and analyze standard to moderately complex reports, including data content, format, source data, and production process.
- Write specifications for new report programs, spreadsheets, and other devices to produce reports.
- Identify reporting gaps and make judgments and recommendations based on analysis and specialty area knowledge.
- Analyze comparative data from reports and interpret results.
- Apply good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
- Monitor, assess, analyze, and/or evaluate processes and data.
- Make recommendations to support process improvements and increase operating efficiencies that have limited but direct impact on the business.
- Integrate established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.
- Utilize communication skills to articulate and exchange information in a concise and logical way, as well as be sensitive to audience diversity.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years relevant experience
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
- Intermediate level English proficiency
- Experience in project management
- Experience in managing internal clients
- Tracking of work plans
- Basic knowledge of financial concepts (P&L, Gross and Net Benefit, Amortization, etc.)
- Business Case generation
- Work plan creation
- Participation in implementations and projects in operational areas
