Operations Support Supervisor

The Operations Support Supervisor is a mid-level management role tasked with delivering comprehensive leadership and guidance to a team of professionals, aimed at providing operational support services in conjunction with the Operations - Core team. The primary goal of this position is to guarantee the efficient delivery of operational support services in accordance with the infrastructure and processes of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the Operations Support division by assigning tasks and responsibilities across multiple teams.
  • Oversee performance assessments, compensation, recruitment, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members while identifying staffing requirements.
  • Evaluate team outcomes, ensuring quality and efficiency, while contributing to resource planning, budget oversight, and procedure development.
  • Assist in the creation of innovative techniques, models, and strategies within the area of expertise.
  • Promote the alignment of the Operations Support framework through targeted technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to retail accounts by assessing and implementing suitable control and testing measures.
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on thorough analysis and in-depth understanding of policies and procedures in complex and unique scenarios.
  • Operate with a limited degree of direct oversight.
  • Exhibit independence in judgment and autonomy.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and other team members.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Appropriately evaluate risks when making business decisions, with a focus on the organization’s reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, and applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in team management.
  • Proficient in analyzing business needs, developing testing strategies, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Required Licensing/Registration: Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, and Series 63.
  • Ability to work independently and swiftly adapt priorities as situations change.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet deadlines or unexpected shifts in expectations.
  • Self-driven and detail-oriented.
  • Proven organizational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Consistently exhibits clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
