About the Role
Nemak is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our equipment and systems, improving production, quality, and cost through the development of maintenance strategies.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Manage and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Plan and coordinate resources to ensure continuity of operations, including spare parts management and inventory control.
- Conduct regular evaluations and improvements of maintenance processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to ensure efficient response times and cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor and control daily expenses, ensuring compliance with budget and cost per piece targets.
- Manage staff overtime, ensuring it does not exceed goals and plans, and implement strategies to reduce costs.
- Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with 5S audits and follow up on hazardous waste generation escalations.
- Monitor and maintain positive trends in maintenance indicators, including availability, costs, FMSR, and TMPR.
Requirements
- Education: Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- 5 years of experience in technical personnel management and maintenance care and scheduling, with knowledge of 4-5 Axis CNC, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of strategy systems, TPM, RCM 2, and soft skills such as structured and organizational, innovation and creativity, collaboration, results-oriented approach, working under pressure, and time flexibility.
