Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with established standards
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of our operations
- Provide training and guidance to quality assurance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Three years' experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in a logistics or transportation industry
- Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual factory management
- Knowledge of quality management software and systems
- Experience working in a global logistics or transportation company
