The Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of accounting and financial analysis, financial planning, and implementation of financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to the accounting manager and other areas of the company.
  • Support data requests from external auditors and investors.
  • Expertise in accounting of loans, accruals, and other financial instruments.
  • Proficiency in Mexican and US GAAP.
  • Monthly closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial analysis.
  • Provide accounting advice related to loans and other financial matters.
  • Support internal and external financial and risk management audits.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in accounting, with 2 years of experience in loans accounting.
  • Experience working with financial statements in Mexican and US GAAP.
  • Experience in financial analysis for balance sheet and P&L.
  • Knowledge and experience in external and internal audit.
  • ERP management experience (SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite).
  • Experience reporting information to regulatory institutions.
