Job Title: K9 Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced K9 Specialist to join our team at SGI Global, LLC.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a canine expert to work with our clients in Mexico City, Mexico. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in canine care and performance, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in biological sciences or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience working with canine units in law enforcement or military settings
  • Fluent Spanish language skills (FSI level 4/4)
  • Ability to pass a U.S. Embassy RSO security background check

You will also need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

As a K9 Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on all aspects of canine care and performance
  • Assisting the INL Mexico Canine Team in developing a Mexican canine certification program
  • Providing professional support services to the Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Mexico City, Mexico
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
